MedTech giant Integer announced the completion of significant facility expansions in Ireland. The company will expand its reputation as the leading medical device contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) in Ireland, providing abundant support to the Irish economy through a sustained supply of MedTech capabilities.

The company officially opened its new European medical device innovation and manufacturing center in Galway, Ireland, on 20 September. This state-of-the-art facility adds to Integer 80,000 square-foot expansion of its guidewire manufacturing facility in New Ross, County Wexford. This expansion will enhance Integer’s capacity to produce high-quality medical devices and meet the needs of its global customer base. These investments demonstrate Integer’s commitment to growth and innovation in the medical device industry. By expanding its operations in Ireland, Integer is positioning itself as a leading provider of contract manufacturing services in Europe.

Integer also continues to increase employment in Ireland, with more than 1,700 currently employed in the region. In Galway, the company is on track with its previously announced commitment to increase jobs by 100-200 in the coming years. In New Ross, Integer has increased its number of employees by 25% since 2020. It is expected this trend will continue in line with customer demand.
