Easyrain, the Italian tech company pioneering innovative solutions for the ADAS and autonomous vehicle industry, has joined the NVIDIA Halos AI Systems Inspection Lab for the inspection of Easyrain’s aquaplaning detection virtual sensor — part of the DAI (Digital Advanced Information) platform.

The announcement was made at the 2025 NVIDIA GTC AI Conference in Paris, where Easyrain was honoured to become the first Italian company to join the lab.

Set to debut on a premium vehicle that will be unveiled in 2026, Easyrain’s DAI platform offers advanced low-grip road detection and vehicle sensing capabilities through software-only virtual sensing — eliminating the need for additional hardware. This innovation provides automotive manufacturers with a cost-effective, scalable, and efficient path to enabling the rollout of next-generation driver assistance and autonomous driving technologies.

The NVIDIA Halos AI Systems Inspection Lab, accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB), supports automotive ecosystem partners in aligning with evolving safety standards. The lab inspects and validates that automotive software and systems meet the industry’s most rigorous requirements for functional safety, AI reliability, and cybersecurity in the integration with NVIDIA’s Halos elements.
