Employees were polled by The Times-Dispatch and Energage, a Pennsylvania-based employee research company, on a variety of topics, including corporate culture and work-life balance as well as training opportunities and benefits.

In its ten-year history, the programme surveyed the most businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies this year, resulting in the selection of 102 winning organisations. There are 28 businesses in the midsize category, which includes companies with 125 to 399 employees, including Iron Bow.
