TELUS’ fifth annual #StandWithOwners contest celebrates Canada’s largest small business competition. From thousands of entries, 20 exceptional Canadian businesses have been selected for their innovative spirit, community impact, and technological prowess. These winning businesses represent the best of Canadian entrepreneurship, demonstrating how small businesses can drive economic growth and make a positive difference in their communities. TELUS is recognizing and supporting these outstanding businesses with a $1 million investment.

The #StandWithOwners program reflects TELUS’ commitment to empowering small businesses and fostering innovation in Canada. By providing financial support, mentorship, and technology solutions, TELUS aims to help these businesses thrive and create jobs. To date, TELUS has contributed $5 million via the #StandWithOwners program, offering vital funding, advertising, and technology support to help businesses succeed.

Six Grand Prize Winners

Six of the 20 winners received a grand prize package valued at over $200,000, including funding, technology, and national recognition. These businesses exemplify innovation, resilience, and a commitment to community impact:

  • Blume: A wellness brand offering superfood rituals.
  • Happly Ai: An AI-powered platform connecting businesses and nonprofits with funding opportunities.
  • Kidcrew Medical: A pediatric healthcare clinic that leverages technology for improved patient care.
  • Legends Haul: A sustainable food distribution and manufacturing business.
  • Stoko: A company that creates innovative medical-grade apparel.
  • ZoRaw Chocolates: A producer of protein-fortified, fiber-rich, and sugar-free chocolate bars.

The remaining 14 winners will each receive $20,000 in funding and technology to support their growth.
